From the Desk of the CEO... Greetings from MIM,
In support of
mid-career manager development, MIM continues to organise the MIM Manager's Renewal Programme (MIM-THORA).
This fully residential programme provides a reflection and experiential sharing journey
for mid-career managers to review their progress achieving harmony, excellence and
continue with lifelong learning. MIM-THORA is designed in line with the government's
aspirations as reflected in the National Social Policy. It gives an opportunity for
managers to lead a more balanced life with a responsibility towards creating a society
imbued with the core human values of caring, respect, integrity and compassion.
Towards continuing professional development, MIM has developed and customised a new Professional
Diploma in Management Leadership Programme specialising in Internal Auditing
(MIM-PDMLP-IA). This programme is designed to assist participants to obtain comprehensive
and practical knowledge and skills in managing and excelling in the internal audit
function as well as to develop general management skills that cover the business as well
as technical internal auditing fields. The first intake will commence on 3 July 2008.
