From the Desk of the CEO... Greetings from MIM!
As we always believe
in giving the best to our members and business associates, in the month of August we
present to you The Futurist Forum featuring
John Naisbitt, the worlds most sought after speaker on the
future and Tun Mahathir Mohamad as the guest of honour speaker.
The forum will be held on 26 August 2008 at Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur. To keep the
momentum going we bring you Vistage CEO Summit
themed Innovate or Perish scheduled on 9 September
2008 at the Shangri-La Hotel, Kuala Lumpur. MIM members are entitled to a special rate for
both events.
MIM, being the forefront in providing quality management programmes, has introduced two
new programmes under the Human Capital Management banner, the Successful Interview
Technique for Managers & HR for Non-HR Managers
which will commence on 20-21 August and 26-27 August 2008 respectively.
Realising the importance of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) to the Malaysian economy,
MIM in collaboration with PSMB have developed the MIM-PSMB SME CEOs / Owners Managership &
Mangers Development Programmes. These programmes aims to assist CEOs and owners of
SMEs to further enhance their managerial skills in their quest to expand their businesses
and to adapt quickly to constantly changing business environment and to remain
competitive. Check out the respective programmes for more details.
On the SMIDEC Skill Upgrading Programmes for
SMEs, another 14 MIM Management Leadership programmes have been approved by SMIDEC.
Now in total there are 29 programmes. Eligible SMEs only need to pay 20% of the
training fees to send your employees for the training programmes. If you are a recipient
of SMIDEC business grant, 100% training grant will be given
for attending Finance for Non-Finance Managers programme. * Terms and Conditions
apply.
